How to Discipline Yourself to Be a better writer!

Photo by Nick Morrison on Unsplash

You should devote time where you can sit down and write your thoughts Don’t worry about grammar. You can edit what you wrote later for now get your thoughts on paper or laptop. You should read every day to strengthen your vocabulary. You should start working on small writing projects then when you grow you can take on bigger projects.

If you are only accountable for yourself, it’s easy to get sidetracked and let yourself off the hook. you should join a writing group to get feedback or support. I think joining a writing group is a lot cheaper than hiring a writing coach.

It’s hard to stay disciplined if you are tired or stressed. You always do an exercise before you write. A good exercise before a writing session will improve your circulation and mental alertness.

The reason I joined Medium is that I wanted feedback from other writers.
