Is disclosing your disability employer Necessary?
Should you be required to disclose your disability to a potential employer? The answer is no. In fact, if a company ever asks you about your disability, you don’t have to give them that information.
After I graduated with my first degree. I took a job position as a web designer, so I emailed this individual about designing a website for him. I sent him an introduction email telling him who I was and told him that I have Cerebral Palsy. I messed up by saying that I have a disability. That led to a series of unnecessary questions such as “Do I ever get sick due to my disability.” I answered NO and said I work twice as harder because of my disability. I should never let him know that I have a disability.
I like the idea of working online, so you could work from your home.
