New Medium Changes
Yesterday I received an email stating that Medium is adopting a minimum threshold payout. If a writer doesn’t earn 10 dollars that month, the writer won’t get pay until they earn 10 dollars. A few months ago Medium started a new membership tier called friends of medium, if you subscribe to this tier you will support the writers you read most than a regular membership.
The Main Reasons for Changes
The reason why medium is doing this is to get rid of AI — generator and clickbait articles. In an email Tony Stubblebine stated that he wants medium to become a place where writers can share their ideas and get reward for their work.
How to Succeed on this Platform
You always should high quality content that hooks your readers. I highly recommend you should write about your life experience. Your content should always touch your audience’s heart and soul. Your headlines should guide your viewers to your articles.
