The greatest rivalry game in college football history is between Tennessee VS Alabama! The first meeting between these two teams was on November 26, 1901. In 1901. the first meeting between these two teams ended after a controversial offside call, and the umpires were unable to clear out the crowd in the second half. In the game, J. L. Broug scored for Tennessee and A. W. Stewart scored for Alabama. In 1939, #5 Tennessee defeated Alabama 21– 0, officially designated the third Saturday in October for the Tennessee — Alabama rivalry game. In the 1950’s, the head athletic trainer, Jim Goostree started a tradition where he handed out cigars after Alabama wins the game against the Tennessee Volunteers. This is the greatest rivalry game in the history of college football. The fans of each team hate each other. A bar full of Tennessee and Alabama fans is total chaos. One year I decided to go to a college bar on the University of Tennessee’s campus and I saw an Alabama fan pour his beer on a Tennessee fan and Alabama was winning the game. When Tennessee defeated Alabama in 2023, they snapped 18 losing streak against Alabama. Josh Heupel out-coached Nick Saban at his own game. Josh Heupel and former quarterback Peyton Manning were smoking cigars after defeating Alabama. Hendon Hooker's laser-precise throws gave the volunteers the opportunity to capitalize on the crimson tide and…
