The origins of Facebook

Mark Zuckerberg created a site called Facemash while he was attending Harvard University. The university’s administration shut the site down due to violating copyrights and individual privacy. On February 4, 2004, Zuckerburg launched a site called Thefacebook. Six days later, a group of Harvard students accused Zuckerberg of stealing their ideas to build a competing product. Membership was initially restricted to Harvard students but later expanded to other Ivy League schools. On September 26, 2006, Facebook open up to anybody who is 13 years old and has a valid email address.

My Personal Experience

I remembered when I was a teenager I had Myspace only for six months, then I started an account on Facebook. I could not really use a phone so using Facebook was how I communicated with my friends at school. I eventually would like to be a social media specialist. Many people spend several hours a day scrolling through Facebook. I feel like Meta Verse will change how we interact with people.
