Use your weakness to empower yourself

I remember when I said I wanted to college, and my teacher laughed at me that isn’t my best option, we will help you make that option when the time comes. I said to myself I don’t want you to decide for me. I could make my decisions myself. I focused twice harder since I have a serve disability. I let my disability empower me to succeed and not let it get me down. I don’t think the world owes me anything, I am disabled. I don’t like when people say I am an inspiration, but I know they are amazed by what I do. I just want to be an average joe in society. I don’t people to come up to me and tell me that I am an inspiration for being in a wheelchair when I go to a store. There was an older gentleman who came up to me and pat me on my head. I was thinking about making a T-shirt that says I’m not a dog but I have cerebral palsy. I don’t like when people treat me differently.
