When people clap for your articles, it helps your articles get ranked by Medium. When your articles get ranked you will earn more money. I don’t like when people give you only one clap when you pour your heart and soul into writing. You don’t know how much an individual has put into developing an article. You have to build a good readership to receive a decent number of claps. If you like an article, please give it 50 claps! I understand that people will write anything to make money. I write on medium to get noticed by people who will give me freelance jobs.
