Writing Therapy
Have you ever you feel frustrated, well open up an notebook or your laptop. I am not a violent person at all, but I used to yell at my caregivers and tell them to go home. One of the reason I used to get upset I couldn’t express myself due to being non — verbal. I had to keep all negative feelings inside me. Some of my caregivers were worthless, all they wanted to do was sit on the crouch and watch TV. I tried a lot of things to help me to calm down and nothing seem to work. I decided to write about my feelings and what upset me. I didn’t experience trouble with having a writer block when I was angry. Writing is like hitting a punching bag for me. I couldn’t talk to anyone since I have cerebral palsy so I write to calm down! Anyone can try this therapy, it requires no insurance!!!
